To whom it may concern:
I see, so many times, people are quick to write with complaints regarding an airline; well mine is a letter of gratitude to the wonderful employees and management at the Delta location in Cincinnati. My fiancé, myself and my two girls, ages 7 & 10 years old flew from Manchester NH to Cincinnati for a connecting flight to Cancun Flight 718 on November 12, 2004. While ready to board at 9:00 a.m. we were told we could not board because we did not have a notarized letter from the girls dad stating they could leave the country. We were, needless to say, shell shocked due to not being told this previously by anyone. From this point on the following people did everything in their power to get us to Cancun. We were not able to leave that day but we were so well taken care of in the process of getting our letter and flying to Cancun.
Rick Regan – Rich Andrae – Keith H? (I apologize for not getting the last name Keith) – Gary Bowman and Stan Burch. These gentlemen were wonderful working with us and made sure we had a place to stay along with the ability to call family members and let them know our status. Upon arrival back into the airport the next day we had Rick Andrae waiting for us, knowing the situation and taking our problem into his hands. His previous knowledge was so nice since we did not have to go through the story again. The entire crew cannot be commended enough for the Customer Service and compassion they provided for a devastated family! They had to do their jobs and ensure everyone’s paperwork was correct but for the few of us that were unaware, we could not have asked for a better crew or Airlines to work with. We are now devoted Delta flyers and we can thank the wonderful crew for that. Thank you Thank you Thank you to all of you at Delta – Cincinnati.
