Time Warner Complaint - Horrible Service - Always Unimpressed With This Company
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- We pay an arm and a leg for cable and internet services. Customer service is consistently terrible. Today, we upgraded to digital cable with DVR only because we didn't want to commit to a contract with Direct TV. The technician showed up half and hour late, didn't offer an apology, just an excuse that the last job took longer than expected. I took off work to have the upgrade performed and, subsequently, was not able to get back on time. They offered a measly $20 credit after spending 15 minutes on the phone with them explaining my complaint. Furthermore, our internet needs to be reset at least twice a week, which in my opinion, is a real pain. Also, our cable TV will cut out several times a week. Finally, my wife and I were under the impression that we were getting the extended cable TV package for the past three years. Last week, we suddenly weren't getting any channel beyond 26. They didn't notify us that they had changed our service, they only left a sales pamphlet on our door trying to get us to buy a new package. Terrible communication, terrible service, always frustrating to deal with this company. Hopefully someone else will come along someday and get things right.
