National lotto co-op Informative - Fake lottery

Review by otis01 on 2010-06-21
MIAMISBURG OH -- I received a letter from this NATIONAL LOTTO CO-OP today. it was fake from the envelope to start with. the check is good I bet but they want you to cash it, send some back to a man western union. then they will send you tax information. you can see the letter has been copied so many times that the ink is pale in spots. who ever heard of sending money to pay the taxes threw western union. these companines/people should be tracked down and nailed. they need to pay fines and big ones. they are wasting paper, time, and un-neccary mail deliveries. this is the first one I ever received .

The check is not good; you put it in the bank, the bank clears it and you send a portion to the scammers. A week or so later, the check is returned for being fake and YOU are on the hook for whatever you sent.

Take the letter, envelope and anything else that was included and forward it to the Postal Inspector
