DWScott Complaint - False Promotion
PHOENIX -- I was approaced by phone, non-soliciting number, and was presented with a promotion of which I would pay for and they would provide clients of which I would earn $200.00 for each client enrolled as well as a residual of the amount of their claim (25%) over a 12 month period on a monthly basis.
I was told that I would get my total investment back within a very short time and more.
I invested $3750.00 plus a $495.00 enrollment fee and have a return of approximately $1200.00 to date. This was November 2009 that I enrolled.
I was not given an updated site of my client list for many months and could not follow any activity. Well, as it is there was really little activity. At this time, I have had approximately 4 of the 7 that was assigned to me, cancel their agreement with DWS therefore, no residual coming and now no additonal clients. They were to offer 400 hours of calling time, of which they did, plus a bit more, but generated a total of 7-8 clients with all of that.
I am very disgusted and many attempts to call Troy, the guy that promoted this, failed.
I had asked for the difference in my investment to be refunded and was denied. They need to be reported to protect others from being taken in by this false promotional tactics. I submitted a complaint to BBB and of course they sided with DWS
