Sears Complaint - Sears extended warranty
We purchased a Whirlpool washer in July 2009. The extended warranty was purchased with the washer. The washer failed June 12, 2010. We called and got an appointment for Wed June 16. The operator stated a service charge of $69.00 would be charged for diagnostics's. Finally, after 5 days of laundry build up, the service man arrived. He said that he would have to order a part. The part came Monday the 21st. My wife called the service number and they said the serviceman was there, not true. The next appointment date was July 21. Finally after my wife talking to, getting hung up on, she got an appointment for Thursday the 24th. this will put the washer down for 12 days. I could have called a local repairman and had it fixed on Saturday June 12. This extended warranty is not what we expected.
