Anthony Plumbing Heating Cooling Complaint - Company did not fulfill its contract
LENEXA, KS. -- On January 13, 2010 the company charged me $189.00 (my check # 1571) for a home boiler repair and a central A/C tune up for my house, to be done in June. I called in June and was told nobody planned to schedule my A/C tune up. We had been running the A/C for a couple of weeks, were planning to go on vacation and a tune up to help ensure reliable performance of the unit was not satisfactory to me if it was done late June or early July. I asked if they in fact ever intended to perform their contractual agreement, which they signed and collected money for. I was told someone apparently forgot. I told them I had no confidence that they would honor their contract and told them I wanted a refund for the A/C tune up. The request was never honored. I reported the matter to the Kansas City BBB and received a letter from them stating that I should notify them if anything changed in the matter. It has not. I still await a refund. Although I was never contacted by the company to schedule the tune up, they were quick to accept my check for the work to be performed. I will not contact them again for service, nor will I recommend them to anyone.
