Jeff Benton Homes Informative - Problem w/Jeff Benton Home

HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA -- I have lived in a Jeff Benton subdivision for nearly 9 years. There are a total of 32 houses in our small subdivision and about 12 up on our small cul-de-sac. I am the 6th house (just in my cul-de-sac) in 9 years to have to have extensive septic work done. It appears the cheapest 'legal' pipes were used on these houses for the leaching fields and many have collapsed. One neighbor had to have their entire septic system replaced, another had to have new pipes and a pump (total $4,900). It really is a shame that someone with such a big name in building doesn't place more pride in his work... just does enough to sell the homes and get away w/his profit.

Over the past 23 years, Jeff Benton Homes has been building homes in the Huntsville/Madison County area. During that time, improvements have been made to our plans, products, community designs and amenities but one thing has remained the same; our commitment to quality. Mrs. Wilkerson is a homeowner in the Fieldstone community and while we understand Mrs. Wilkerson states she and other homeowners have experienced septic problems, Jeff Benton Homes is not aware of any on-going issues, related to septic problems or otherwise, with any homeowner in this community. Each JBH homeowner receives a written warranty upon closing and we stand behind the warranty. We will research this claim and appreciate the opportunity to make things right.
