Gossett Volkswagon Complaint - False Presentation - Vokswagon Jetta

Review by JHD on 2010-06-22
ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA -- I bought a 2006 Volkswagon Jetta (Demonstrator) from Gossett Volkswagon Dealership, located at 1550 Mansell Rd., Alpharetta, Ga. 30004. It was never owned and considered a demo (approx. 3000 miles) Many colors were available to choose from, and my wife chose the black color. I was informed that the auto had been in a very minor accident, but I was assured that all parts were replaced new, so I purchased the vehicle. About a year later, I opened the gas door on the outside to refuel. The door popped open and fell to the ground. I observed that the the part had been glued together and duct tape was applied. When I went back to Gossett, I pretty much was told tough luck and it will take $250. to repair it. When I emailed VW headquarters, I was told that it was a Gossett problem and not VW's. Frustration is not the word for these lies.

So, for an entire year you didn't notice your gas door was glued and duct taped together? Wow.
