Empire Carpet Complaint - Poor service
I had carpet installed on 5/27/10. Called on 5/29/10 to complain about what I thought was a seam in an unusual place. On 6/10/10 a inspector from Empire visited my home. He informed me that it wasn't a seam, but rather a flaw. On 6/17/10 another inspector, this one from the carpet mill stopped by and confirmed what the Empire inspector said. Now on 6/22/10 I am still waiting to find out if and when the carpet will be replaced. As a side note - every time I call Empire's customer service the customer service representative ends the call with "thank you for calling Empire". A thank you is not in order here. An apology and certainly a remedy is what I would like. One more thing. Empire posted the charge to my credit card on 6/5/10.
