Toyota Motor Corporation Complaint - The Living Punished - defective product........ 2000 and 2007 Avalon xls
HOLLISTON, MASSACHUSETTS -- In June of 2009 my 2007 Toyota Avalon XLS accelerated causing me to slam on the breaks and cross to lanes in the evening on the Massachusetts Turnpike. This caused me to hit a guardrail twice and get pinned in my vehicle. Toyota at this point had not disclosed that they had knowledge of this acceleration problem or that this maybe caused by a computer malfunction. Although, people were dying and fortunately I lived. Toyota told me that because they were not able to inspect the vehicle that they had to deny my claim. Although Toyota has paid the U.S. Government 17 million dollars in fines for knowingly deceiving the American public concealing this unintended acceleration problem. Further there CEO in a Conressional Hearing indicated that he has not a clue what causes this acceleration. Toyota continues to tell me the car is fixed due to the recall adjustments. I have explained to Toyota the I am not going to drive this car and should have to drive this car any more. Toyota has murdered people across amerrica and due to the fact that I am living from the accident that I have had I am getting punished and forced to keep a car that I cannot an will not use. Toyota has claimed that the first recall of floor mats was the problem. Secondly, Toyota claimed it was the accelerator or a piece of it. Thirdly, Toyota paid the U. S Government fines because they do not know what the cause of this probleme is. I write to those to inform that the Living Public should not be penalized.
