Introductions, Inc Complaint - Breach Of Contract And Awards Settlement

Review by dmaags on 2010-06-22
RANCHO MIRAGE, CALIFORNIA -- I had a contract for 12 months and 7 introductions for the fee of 3500.00. INTRODUCTIONS INC. did not complete the contract in the alloted time. I asked for my money to be refunded and the company refused. I asked my credit card company (Chase Visa) to reverse the charge as there was a breach of contract. After contacting Introductions I was told the charge would not be reversed because I had a non cancel contract. I tried to explain that never cancelled. My course of action according to the contract was to go to arbitration. I did this and in April of this year I was awarded a judgment for the 3500.00 plus the 125.00 in costs associated with filing the claim. To date I have not received my settlement. I have emailed the company many times to no avail. My contact there is devan@introductions-desert.com. I am hoping this site can help me get my judgment and keep others from the same scam.

Who did you go to arbitration with?

if you have proof that you are legally entitled to the money have you considered taking it to court?

I would suggest the same as those above. Go through the court system. Ultimately, a judgment will simply be awarded you because of the arbitration, then you can garnish from their accounts or lean on their assets.

Let us know what happens.

The arbitrator was assigned by the American Arbitration Board. I have the proof of award. Arbitration was in accordance with the contract as the contract stayed that I could not go to court but to Arbitration. Thanks for letting me know that now I am able to go to court. I will file in small claims next month. Appreciate all your feedback.
