Billing Resources Complaint - Bogus billing
I had to had charges places on my home telephone bill (Century Link)that were "third party" charges for god knows what. When I inquired to Century Link, I was given the number for Billing Resources and told it was a charge for a pc, which I didn't own at the time. I then had to call Billing Resource and was told they would have the charge come off in 3-4 billing cycles. I asked Century Link not to allow third party charges, which I recall having done in a past year, when Century Link was Sprint. Billing Resources claimed the charge was for pc line services. After being very stern, they agreed to take it off and gave me a confirmation number. What I really want to know is how can this happen in the first place. I'm not going to file charges with the FCC.
