Walters Management Complaint - Had Enough of This Company Trying to Rip me Off

Review by Frustrated with Walters on 2010-06-22
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Walters Management started collecting HOA fees for Verano (San Diego)in April 2009. My condo is a tenant occupied condo, and this information was communicated to Walters and the prior company by the property management company - they both conveniently failed to acknowledge it, they kept billing the tenants instead of the owners, they presently want me to pay over $2200 comprising late fees, "bike on the patio" violations, liens, against the property and duplicate HOA fees, even though ALL HOA due to Walters have been paid to date. Request to waive charges go to the Board of Directors who apparently only waive few late fees. This company need to change the way they do business - No it NOT okay to bill incorrectly and then take out Liens against people's property to force them to overpay to pad Walters pocket - in these tough economic times - companies like these need to have fair business practices and not rip people off
