Rt.66 footwear co Complaint - How do I find the corporate office if there is one

Review by whitethroat on 2010-06-23
About three years ago I purchased a pair of rt. 66 foot wear hiking boots.
I probably wore them fifteen to twenty times, at the most. I can not remember where I purchased them. My problem is that the glue that holds the soles on has left. I now have them taped with electrical tape and am using them when I cut grass. I checked the tag on the inside of the boot and they wear made in China. I was annoyed enough to try to send a letter to the mfg. but when I Googled it I only found listings of stores that sell their products.
I have better tread on these boots then most cars have on their tires, so it was a matter of principal that I fire off a letter to corporate of which I could find no listing.

They are made FOR and sold BY K-Mart; it is probably a lost cause.

I believe that brand is sold at KMart. You can try to complain to them, but the shoes are 3 years old and have been worn. I also doubt you paid very much for them and you need to remember that you get what you pay for.

I was disappointed that Kmart discontinue my favorite Route 66 casual shoes (they look similar to Sketchers) as I wear them to work. They do held up for several months and costs $13.00 when its on sale. Its a good thing I have bought 4 more before they discontinue the product.
