LG Complaint - LG Range - Self Clean burns out Power board and touch pad
We have owned this stove for 2 years, have only had to use the self clean feature three times, two of the three times, the oven got so hot we smelled wires and plastic burning, sure enough, when the cycle would finish we would get F code errors, and our stove would not work! Eating out with four kiddos for over a week is not cheap! I purchased this range because I love to cook and eat healthy meals! I'm furious that LG and Home Depot will not even admit there is a problem with this, I google the internet and find it EVERYWHERE! In Feb our extended warranty (Thank God we bought that!) will run out, Guess I am stuck with a range with a self cleaning option that I will never be able to use! Do NOT buy LG, it may be a prettier, or a little cheaper, but stick to the people who dedicate themselves to APPLIANCES only and are not dabbling in every other electronic out there just to make a buck! LG has a Customer Service Dept that are IMPOSSIBLE to deal with, I've never heard such rude people!!!!!!!
