Haier Complaint - Bad customer service
We bought an ac last year from Haier and a few months later I noticed the floor was wet in front of the couch. I didn't think much of it because I thought my two year old spilled some water. The next day it was still there. I found out that the ac was leaking and had warped the floor. After we moved the ac the smell of mold was just too strong, it filled the whole house. I called Haier they wanted me to send it in a box and they would see what happened and call me back. I sent it. A month later still no call. I called them and they said they would call me back the next day to tell me if they would pay for the floor. that phone call never came. Because it was taking them so long my landlord went ahead ad fixed it anyway. They never called back. When we got the new ac we left it in the box and opened it in the spring when it started getting hot again. My husband put it together and it didn't work properly. He called Haier they said they would try to send somone to fix it and they would call back 3-5 days later. that phone call never came either, two weeks later my husband called again they said they would call back in 2-3 days and try to send someone. a week later still no call my husband calls for a third time. they finally just tell us to cut off the cord and send it to them. I have never had such a problem with customer service. If Haier tells you they are going to call you don't wait for them to call because it seems they never call back. I think they just hope the problem goes away by not calling anyone back.
