Dyson Vacuum Cleaners Complaint - Dyson Vacuum Cleaner "lemon"
CARLYLE, ILLINOIS -- Our church purchased a Dyson Vacuum Cleaner from Target. Church is a VERY small church -- is not large enough to warrant purchasing an industrial vacuum. After 3 months (once-a-week vacuuming) it stopped suctioning. All the recommendations in CARE were followed. Each time, those procedures were done, it worked for approximately 20 minutes and stopped suctioning again. We took it back to Target; however, Target's policy is "after 2 months no return to them." So I contacted Dyson. It was serviced at the cost of $60 and after 20 minutes of use it stopped again. Contact with Dyson's home office was made. The service person was rude, uncaring, and told me someone would call me back. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. Unfortunately, I purchased this based on what one friend told me. Hers worked great. With all the problem and going to different repair services, we could find ONLY one service that would even attempt to service the product. It is too bad that I didn't do more research before purchasing this product.
