Days Inn Compliment - Days Inn has a thief
KINGMAN, AZ, ARIZONA -- On the 15th of June, 2010 we stayed at the Days Inn In Kingman, AZ. The place was pleasant enough, and for the price, we had no complaints. However, when we left on the 16th, my daughter forgot her stuffed bunny. As this was a special Build-A-Bear bunny that she had received for her birthday, she was quite upset. We were about 20 minutes down the freeway, and quite some distance - but knew we were coming back in a few days, so we called the front desk. We told the clerk EXACTLY where the bunny was - in the bed - and that we would be back - could he please go get it? He said he would. We called back about two hours later - no bunny. We called that night - no bunny. We called twice every day - no bunny. We returned to Kingman on the 20th - NO BUNNY! How long does it take to get an item from a room? He didn't, so housekeeping must have found it - and we know they have kids, as they were running around from room to room behind the housekeepers - and now, my daughter's favorite toy is gone.
We understand that forgotten in a room can mean gone forever - but we were gone maybe 20 minutes before we realized it was still in the room. How hard could it be to retrieve the toy, and hold it for us? I do not believe anyone went to the room to look, or the message given to Housekeeping to look for it - I believe the toy was found, and kept.
