Cory Fairbanks Mazda Informative - Poor Salesmanship - Ford Explorer XLS

Review by edencker on 2005-01-03
LONGWOOD, FLORIDA -- I purchased a used ford explorer xls January 1, 2005 and I agreed to the price of 15900.00 and when I got home I found that they charged me 17900.00. I went back and they refused to correct this. I also want to finance it through my credit union and they refused to cancel my loan with them so I could do that. They also sold me a 2 year warranty and told me it was only one dollar extra a month. I found out later that they charged me a flat fee of 1300.00 plus 1.00 extra every month. Also just two days off the lot and one of my windows does not go up and the car has stalled on me several times. My advice stay away from Cory Fairbanks Mazda. There vehicle inspections are terrible and they will charge you more money without you noticing if they can.

Next to a home, an auto is the largest purchase most Americans will make in their lifetime, yet so many do it carelessly. The dealer has to put all costs in writing and you have to sign it or it's not binding. If someone added $1,300 dollars and you signed for it without noticing, then shame on you. On the plus side, if he sold you the warranty and your having trouble with the car, make them fix it, your covered.
