Saxon Mortgage Complaint - Violation of Loan Modification Laws

Review by testdriverblue on 2010-06-24
FORT WORTH, TEXAS -- Informed since January 2010 Saxon Mrtg has ignored numerous notifications and complaints regarding the rental of a modified mortgage. They are clearly in violation of the Mortgage Modification Laws and the home is being rented to a wanted felon and his family and they have blatantly ignored the situation.

Not sure it is Saxon's responsibility to monitor who rents properties owned by their customers. This seems to be a law enforcement issue, not a mortgage company issue.

Thank you for your comment. It is the responsibility of the mortgage company if they have been made aware of the situation. Another neighbor of ours is a local realtor and she also is/has contacted Saxon to no avail. The owners have been notified of the issues with their renters and they have informed me they are no longer even living in-state another clear violation of Mortgage Modification Laws. This info also has been passed on to Saxon Mrtg. The US Treasury Special Investigator Generals Office has also been notified and hopefully this matter will soon be resolved.
