Kirby Complaint - I'm Not Paying For Something That Never Works!

Review by 127909 on 2010-06-24
I purchased a Kirby vaccum and was excited about it, until it started breaking down on me, I called the company they sent someone out with a new belt, that one broke, and so did the next one and the next one. I haven't been able to use it for months. A sales person contacted me about my payments and I explained that I wasn't going to pay anymore and they could pick it up anytime, the person on the phone said that they are not going to take the vaccum back! That I have to pay for it anyway... How can that be does anyone know anything about this company?

My guess is that you've signed an agreement when accepting the vacuum. Would I be right? If so, read through your contract. Ultimately they may chose to enforce the agreement within court or reporting it as bad debt. Honestly, have someone who knows something about contracts read through your agreement.

Let us know what takes place. Best of luck.
