White Outdoor Complaint - Zero turn lawnmower is costly in repairs

Review by RMM on 2010-06-24
We got this machine new 5 years ago and loved the fact we had a zero turn mower as we mow a large lawn. Were told this would most likely last us 15 years. We are now replacing our 3rd steering pump - each side has one and we replaced both and are now replacing the one that we replace 4 years. Each time the cost of replacement is $350 - this is parts only not including labor~~ total cost of the lawnmower was 3000 amd this was a new machine at the time of purchase~ we are now over 1/3 the cost of a new machine- the company both White and Hydrogear are not willing to do anything or work with us - do not feel they are in any way defective. There is no lemon law regarding this type of equipment. I would not recommend this machine to anyone!!
