Storesonline.com Complaint - Storesonline they lie
OREM, UTAH -- I was sent an invitation to a meeting about how to make money on the Internet in Hazleton, near my home.
I went to the meeting, where I was told storesonline.com had developed Internet tools to guarantee income from a web store. They asked for $58 to attend a meeting where I would learn about these tools.
At that meeting, the presenter said only 20 percent of people would take the offer, but that 20 percent were the smart people who would make money.
I paid the fee, and went to a meeting two weeks later in Wilkes-Barre, where I was told it would cost $5,995 to get ALL of the tools I'd need. I was pressured into paying a $500 deposit, being broke because of the loss of a part-time job, and was told I'd get the tools at a meeting two weeks from then in Allentown.
At the Allentown meeting, which storesonline.com called a "boot camp," they gave a legal presentation, and another presentation where they explained the tools.
It was then I learned that a web site I would need to succeed, called Terapeak, would cost #349 a year. Storesonloine.com said they goy a discount to $249, and offered recordings of the legal and company presentations for free, if I agreed to buy Terapeak.
I was lied to about the $5,995 price. They said nothing about Terapeak before I agreed to the deal.
Because of that lie, I cannot create the web site, so I AM NOT PAYING THE $5,995, AND I WANT THE $558.00 I'VE ALREADY PAID BACK.
I TOLD THE COMPANY, BUT THEY REFUSED TO NEGATE THE AGREEMENT. I have not used any of the tools because it is fruitless without Terapeak.
I would gladly return the handouts they gave me. I have not been on their web site, and didn't even turn in a voucher for a free ipod they advertised at the first meeting.
