Dish Network Complaint - FEE's for Returning Equipment? Seriously?
After having service for over 6 years, I was told the only way to return the equipment was to uninstall the parts myself, box all the equipment in separate boxes "provided" and ship with provided labels. At the time I was surprised they didn't have local drop off places since I live in a major city, Dallas. So I used the boxes however I wasn't informed at any time that I would be charged for each box/label I used. I would of put them in one box if I knew that. This to me is just another way for them to get more money out of people and almost is a penalty for leaving. But I moved to where service wasn't available unless I payed an extra $60 a month more than I was before. This to me is a poor customer service practice and now this once loyal customer will never use DISH again or recommend them to anyone. A $45 investment in customer service is a lot cheaper than losing a customer for life.
