Stormwise Complaint - Installation of Impact Glass Windows Incomplete
OPA-LOCKA,, FLORIDA -- This is formal complaint against STORM WISE COMPANY with license number CGC1511342.
It will be a year, coming July 7th, since I signed the agreement with Stormwise to install impact glass windows in my property in Pompano Beach located in Palm Aire. A year ago you stated that the work would be done in 6 months and still today the job is not completed. Due to your lack of responsibility you have held my monies –over $7,000.00 without any consideration to me. I could have earned interest and/ or at least set up and have installed the windows with another company. I have called the city of Pompano Beach- Jerry Sanzone and Jerry Myers who are aware of your lack of responsibility to complete the job. I have made many attempts for Stormwise to complete the assigned job. I have written to the City of Pompano Beach asking for advice on how to handle my predicament. I have reported you to the Better Bureau of Business. In spite, I have provided you continuous support in staying with your company.
To this day the documented actions in my previous letters to you have not been resolved: -The balcony door has no handle- I have lost so much in AC due to the holes on the door- because there is no handle.
-The custom grid patterns on the windows are in the wrong way- not following approved patterns of the building- in bedroom 2 and bedroom 3 and I receive constant complaints from Palm Aire association to have them placed accordingly. This was mentioned to you in my previous letter and could have been resolved without having to wait for the handle.
- There are grid patterns on the balcony doors that should not have been placed. They need to be removed
- The wall support of the kitchen door is cracked and in need of repair.
