Geek Squad Complaint - This is a sham
I have used Geek Squad services several times. I have been pleased with their services up until this week. This time was a complete sham. I have left messages and the supervisor was supposed to call me back, according to the dispatcher, but he/she never called. I am still waiting. Within minutes after they left, I couldn't (and still can't)get onto IE, e-mails, etc., can't open attachments, my computer is as sluggish as before, and they have my $330.00. They said they'd send someone out under the warranty, but not for several days. In the meantime, I've paid up, they're busy, and they can collect money from other people while I wait. I am so disappointed. I have referred them to my colleagues for years. Now, I feel stuck because they have my money, I haven't heard back from the supervisor, and I want to believe they are better than this. I'd cancel my credit card bill but don't feel terribly good about that either. I just wish they'd call, come back to my house, and do the job they've already been paid for. I liked feeling good about a company like I did Geek Squad. My experience is they seem to have shifted priorities and customer service got left behind. Super unfortunate. This will have to be reconciled one way or the other. Will let you know.
