JSD SALES AND DISTRIBUTION Complaint - DISGUSTINGLY FAT BACON

Review by snowmonster on 2010-06-26
SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS -- I PURCHASED OLE CAROLINA HICKORY SMOKED BACON FROM MY LOCAL GROCERY TO USE FOR BLT'S, OPON OPENING THE PACKAGE WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY, THE WHOLE PACKAGE WAS FAT. THERE WAS ENOUGH BACON "MEAT" TO MAKE ONE SANDWICH. CERTAINLY SOMEONE SHOULD LOOK INTO THIS RIP OFF. CONSUMERS ARE JUST ABUSED BY LARGE COMPANIES. THIS COMPANY WORKS WITH TYSON, ONE OF THE BIGGEST PRODUCT PROVIDERS IN THE WORLD. OF COURSE CAN YOU GET A PHONE NUMBER FOR THEM TO CALL WITH A COMPLAINT, SO THE ONLY RESOURCE IS TAKE PACKAGE BACK TO GROCERY STORE FOR REFUND.

I usually get ends and pieces. It has more meat, usually than fat. We have a chain here in Washington called Grocery Outlet, where our money goes about twice as far as anyplace else, and we are within scooter distance of Yardbirds. Grocery Outlet carries as a standard item three pounds of thick sliced bacon for $6, and Yardbirds has similar pricing on a lot of items. I like the ends and pieces because I don't feel the need to have pretty slices of bacon in something I am just going to chew up and swallow anyway. I am making something to eat, not to display at the Guggenheim. BTW, please turn off your caps.
