Gogo-power.com Complaint - Gogo-power refuses to take back a laptop battery that does not fit!
I ordered a replacement battery from gogo-power for my Satellite Toshiba A205-S4607 on 5/22/2010 and it arrived only 6 days after shipping. On 5/29/2010 I emailed gogo-power requesting an RMA, which is what is required by gogo-power so that I could return it as it did not fit. The only email that I have received from gogo-power was on 5/30/2010 stating,
"Kindly tell you the battery you bought is a Hi-capacity extended battery, which is a 9Cell 6600mAh, the demension is much bigger than your original regular one. So when you install it in your laptop, it will stick out of it. Could you please try to install our battery in? If it can connect your laptop properly, that should be the correct one. If not, please provide your original battery p/n and your laptop model# for me to have a double check."
I told them that I understood that the battery should extend but it did not fit - I know how to replace a battery. I have since sent numerous emails to them and they will not respond. The 30 day warranty has now elapsed, which is what I'm afraid they were hoping for....I want a refund for the battery that does not fit but they will not send me the RMA in order for me to return it and get a credit on my credit card.
