Hilton Hotels Complaint - Unfair to a veteran - hotel reservation
SANT FE, NEW MEXICO -- I had a reservation to stay at the Hilton casino Buffalo thunder in Santa Fe, New Mexico on June the 26th and 27th 2010. I am a two time Vietnam Veteran and I am 90 percent disabled. I had to cancel my reservation at the last minute because of medical reasons. I called 55 hours before my reservation to cancel it and they said they were going to charge me for the first night anyway. They charged my credit card $222.88. The manager was very rude to me and said he had already charged my credit card while I was on the phone to him. I thought they treated a Vietnam Veteran Army veteran very badly. I can't really afford to just have $222.88 taken away from me, even after I cancelled the reservation. I will never stay at another Hilton again and I wish other people would think twice about staying there too. If they can treat me that way, they can sure treat you that way too. I guess they don't care anything about the American soldiers.
