Riverside Dodge Jeep Complaint - Poor workmanship and Lousy Ethics

Review by gdh on 2005-01-06
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA -- Let's keep this short:
Took a '98 Jeep Wrangler in because the shifter
seemed "loose." Jeff and the mechanic confirmed
it was a "bad transmission" and required $3,000.00
to fix. Subsequently two long-standing, independent
transmission specialists confirmed it has worn shifter linkage, costing about $100 to repair. Lastly, the dealership failed to enplace the shifter boot back in as they found it, and left the jeep dirty inside and out. Their ethics are poor to non-existant, as is their workmanship.
