Spirit Airlines Complaint - Poor Customer Service
Well Spirit airlines called me on June 09,2010 to let me know they would not be flying on June 11,2010. I was like what do I do. They said we could give you back your money and you could find another flight. Well my ticket was 329.92 now that same one was 600.00 with Delta. I said I bought this a month ago and I have to pay more money because of you. I am not the one canceling anything you called me. I had to get a one way with Delta finally paid for my Spirit at 3pm on Friday the same day I was leaving at 7:30pm to Vegas. This was my first time ever going and it was not good because I had to cancel everthing in Vegas since I didn't know if I was going. I was on the phone with them for 5 hours in one day. I hated talking to them I couldn't understand them. I was suppost to come home on Monday and guess what they didn't even call me to tell me my flight was canceled. I had to buy a one way with US Airs for $240.00. I got a email from Spirit Airlines letting me know I was going to get a refund of 182.00 at 5:15pm on Monday June 14,2010 the same day I was leaving and only got 142.00 from them. I think they ruined my vacation because I paid a lot more for the things I had already booked once and now canceled. I also had to take an extra day off from my job because of them. Why should I have to pay for their strike. I was the one just trying to get home and try to forget about all of the things that happened from the moment they called. I will never fly with them again. I have flown with them 10 times since 2008. The first time they lost my luggage. I can't see how they have lasted this long.
