Hyatt Hotels Complaint - Valet parking

Complaint
Review by Carcon on 2010-06-28
HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I went to Hyatt Regency Houston for an event 06/27/2010 and used Valet Parking. When I returned home that night I discovered damage to the driver side on the fender above the tire well. I contacted the hotel and found that the Valet service is a 3rd party contractor and not affiliated with Hyatt Regency. The owner of the Valet service claimed the auto was damaged when it came in...not true and I can prove it. After arguing with him he agreed to pay with a credit card to repair my vehicle and to reimburse me the cost of car rental with a cashier check...NO INSURANCE was offered. Beware folks or this could be you. The damage is still not fixed. I'm waiting on Wayne, the Valet owner, to approve it. I may have to use my own insurance. Stay away from Valet Parking at the Hyatt Regency!!
