Bank of America Complaint - Get It In Writing And Verify It Was Done Every Year
CORONA, CALIFORNIA -- Bank of America charged 15 fees @ $35/each to my daughters account that I had Opted out of in December of 2009. The teller that assisted me no longer works at the bank so customer service and the Branch Manager could not verify with the teller if indeed I had requested an opt out. They said "the fees were accrued at no fault of their own." They charged me $525.00, in fees for purchases that did not even total $99. I closed all of my accounts, I have been a customer since 1989. They also had the audacity to tell me they cover small purchases of any amount as a courtesy, while charging you $35 for each transaction, even if it is for 0.01 cent. Another issue I have is that when I didn't receive a call back from customer service, I went into the branch and spoke with the manager who said she would email the rep from customer service requesting that she call me.
THE BRANCH MANAGER OF THE BANK NEVER TOLD ME THEY HAD CLOSED THE DISPUTE THE DAY BEFORE! Even though I sat in her office asking if the case had been resolved.
