Carl's Jr Complaint - Carl's Jr Employees Wanted to Give Me a Used Burrito
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- It was 7:30 am. I had just crossed the border and was hungry for some breakfast. There is a Carl's Jr and a McDonald's but I decided to go to Carl's Jr because it is about 30 yards closer.
There were about 4 persons in front of me. I had decided to order the steak and egg burrito while I waited for my turn. The lady in front of me order a different kind of breakfast burrito. My turn came and I order mine. After I got my number, I waited and waited, and about 15 minutes later they call the lady that ordered the breakfast burrito for here.
I was standing right in front of them. I could see everything that was going on. It was two males and an older lady serving.
I could see the lady that was in front of me looking at her burrito, she had opened the burrito apart (I didn't see her go to the restroom to washed her hands). She gets up and goes to the employee telling her that she gave her the wrong burrito. They apologize to her and tell the guy in the back to make her burrito and she goes back to her seat.
I see the older lady take the burrito and put it back on the counter. After a minute or so the other guy grabs the burrito and puts it in a bag and call my number.
I was really SHOCKED. I just couldn't believe they wanted to take me for a fool when I was right in front of them seeing everything.
I told the employee, "I want my money back". He quickly opened the register as if he knew how wrong he was and gave me my money.
I will never order food at that restaurant ever again; And if I do order at any other restaurant--such as Carl's Jr,--I will be watching every move they make.
