Home Depot Complaint - Refused to refund cash
AUSTIN, TEXAS -- I purchased a ac unit yesterday am. The front cover did not fit. I returned it to the store I purchased it at. They did not have another one. They called another store, gave me store card to go get one at the other store. Got the new unit, the fan was bad, made a lot of noise. Took it back ask for money back. They refused to refund money because first store gave me a store card to go between stores to get the 2nd unit. I had the receipt where I had paid cash for the ac at 7am that morning. I was forced to purchase another ac like the first two that where bad because they would not refund my cash so I could go somewhere else. I don't have $400.00 to throw away or replace what I spent there already. The unit weighed 115 lbs that my elderly husband had to load and unload 6 times in all, not including gas spent, millage etc to drive across town several times.
