AT&T Complaint - Don't Buy Your Cell Service At AT&T
PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU NEED A DEPENDABLE SERVICE, A DEPENDABLE CELL PHONE. We got neither. My husband I were looking for a good dependable cell phone. We are raising our grandson who is a "brittle" diabetic. His blood sugars are monitored all through the day, and still his blood sugar can drop so low that he will need immediate medical attention. It can be a life or death situation. We went with cell phones only because of him. We trusted that AT&T was a good service. It has not been. We have had to have the phones replaced--only to receive the same phones again. The second phones never worked any better than the first ones. I have just spent an hour and a half taking to many AT&T representatives. One stating that he has had many complaints about the phone we have. In our area, the AT&T manager of one of their stores told us that these phones were "JUNK". Last night we were told that they don't even sell then any longer--too many problems. Yet we were told today, on the phone with an AT&T representative, that there is nothing wrong with our phones! We have only one "bar" of service, we get "call fail" when other people calling at about the same time, at the same place, have their calls get through. We are not looking for phones that have a lot of "gadgets". We want something that is dependable. WE NEED SOMETHING THAT IS DEPENDABLE. We are being told they will replace our phones with the same make and model. The first ones didn't work, the second ones didn't work--but they'll send us the same one a third time!
We've been good customers, paying our bill on time, being willing to work with them. It has been said, by each of the many people I talked to today, that they value our business. I think you'll agree--they don't. We were willing to pay for an upgrade. We were told our phones aren't eligible for an upgrade for a year. So there will be an additional charge, besides the extra fee of the phone. We are opting out of our remaining contract. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT WE DID. LOOK ELSEWHERE!!
