Orbitz Complaint - Don't trust their website unless you want to lose your money!
I purchased a ticket to Belize for my vacation. Then my boss said I could have a few extra days off so why not extend and stay a few more days. I went back on line and was happy to see that ORBITZ (according to their website) would allow a free change or cancellation( I supposed this was because it had been less than 24 hours. So I followed the instructions and clicked through the screens including following the instructions to cancel the trip insurance. Then I booked another ticket on Continental for the new dates for my trip. Unfortunately for me, I trusted ORBITZ. But they never canceled that ticket, and they won't issue a refund. They say I did not click on the button that canceled the ticket. But I know that I did. If not then how on earth then did I get through to the next screen with the instructions on how to cancel the travel insurance if I did not click on the button? Well they don't have any answers to that. They have lost a good customer, and I will tell anyone that will listen that you can't trust their website!!!! I will contest this with my credit card company maybe I'll have better luck with them. ORBITZ will never be involved in any of my travel plans in the future!
