Bank of America Informative - online banking
GEORGIA -- My bank statement that showed I had over $23,500in one of my accts. Did not show any deposit for that amount into the acct. Contacted bank, they couldn't tell me why. Next statement I received, $23,000 was "magically" deleted, it did not show any deduction or any process used to correct this amount, which is a normal accounting practice.
I did use online banking continually. Because of class action lawsuit against BAC in CA, I became extra vigilant of my accts.
When I went into BAC web site to do online banking, entered my social security number and pin code, it would take me to a California site that looked just like this BAC site. This happened many times, and I could not access the webpage for an entire day. Called BAC tech support w/ no success.
Then discovered that I had a hacker that had gotten thru my firewall and protection devices. I e-mailed BAC to see what their ATM/Visa coverage was on fraud, since I had heard they no longer had it, I also requested answer to why my ck acct balance would continually go up and down when there was absolutely NO ACTIVITY on acct. Never got ans. back.
My bank declined it when I tried to electronically pay a $18.14 bill.
Went into local bank, where I explained 3 times to Branch Mgr about getting invalid account
message, he proceeded to tell me I was entering info wrong to get to website. So I explained for the 4th and final time, that I made no error because this was AFTER I was on their banking website. He still accused me of wrongdoing, and he, too never explained online balance discreptancies. I cleared out all my accts that day.
BAC computers have either been hacked into and/or they are using their client's money deceptively by "shuffling funds" into innocent peoples' accts, for very short periods of time. They just "goofed" and sent me a statement with some of their "secret money transactions" on it. This is nothing more than the Shell Game Scam. SUDDENLY THEY NO LONGER OFFER ONLINE INSURANCE COVERAGE, WITHOUT NOTIFYING THEIR CUSTOMERS??? Watch out for Bank of Scamerica.
