Heat Surge Complaint - Unacceptable Product

CANTON, OHIO -- In March I purchased two Fireless Flame Heat Surge units, from an ad in a magazine. One of the units was acceptable, the second came out of the box, with the electrical unit making ticking noises. It was sent back, the 2nd, 3rd and now 4th unit have come, with wood pieces that had fallen off, and in the bottom of the box. After the second unit was called on, I was told that these purchased from my magazine were defects. Althouth, these "defects" still cost over $300. These "defects" are completely unacceptable. A week ago, (we are now at the end of June), I called again, to have the 4th unit picked up, and a full refund. Today, I find out, that oops, they forgot to set up a pick up for this unit. So, now I wait another week! This doesn't give me very good opinions on their product, now, on their service!

I'm always leary of ordering things out of magazines (except catalogues, and then only ones I know or have researched).
