Matchmaking Services - Complaint
COSTA MESA/LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- I signed up with Elite, paid approximately $2500 and was assigned a matchmaker (Chrystina Dahl). Chrystina took weeks to provide me with one match which I approved immediately (within hours). Days later she advised that the match declined to meet me because I was "looked like his sister". She promised me a new match the next week. I never heard from her again despite emailing her for updates. I finally demanded my money back and then I heard from another matchmaker (Narcissa Landers) who claimed to only handle "VIP" clients and who advised me Chrystina was no longer my matchmaker and that she had "hand picked" my file. She promised me a match the next week and based on her reassurances and promises, I did not press getting my money back. I never heard from her again despite sending her follow up emails. I then again demanded my money back and heard from a woman at Elite claiming to be the supervisor of Chrystina and Narcissa and she offered to "babysit" a matchmaker for me so I could actually get a match. I declined and insisted on getting my money back. I then heard from a man who claimed to work with the CEO who also offered to "babysit" a matchmaker for me. I again declined and demanded my money back. The man promised to call me back the next Monday (I spoke to him on a Friday) and let me know about getting my money back. I've never heard from him again despite leaving him voicemail messages. I have just (today) filed a lawsuit against them in Orange County Superior Court.
