Time Warner Cable Complaint - My biggest bill every month for nothing!
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- My bill has gone up 50% in 2.5 years and the service has declined by 150%! I have spent the last 3 hours trying to find a way to reduce my bill, which costs me more a month than any other. They keep telling you to use the internet - but that is a waste of time if you want to pay them less. The first person told me to get lost because he was in sales. He said contact customer service. I did that and he said when I wanted a cheaper package that his computer went down - so I asked for an appointment to have a technician out, because the sound keeps cutting out. No problem with the computer then - set up an appointment right away. Told me I had to call customer service and after a 16minute wait finally got a person who I explained I wanted the basic package, she tried to upsell me to another package that would save me all of $16 and I said no I just want the basic cable cost and she disconnected me. I live in a rental and they have the monopoly on me - with no other choices and when I want to lower their bill they do everything possible to stop it from happening. It's time for Monopoly busting again in our history! It's the 1930's all over again! When will the government stop big corporate America from abusing the small guy?
