Wall Street Journal Complaint - Wall Street Journal charges twice for same information

Review by Randyoflincoln on 2010-06-30
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK -- I pay a monthly fee for information I receive from the Wall Street Journal. It is an online subscription. I would like to have that information on a second online machine and they say the only way I can receive it is by paying a second fee. To me, this is like charging you for a newspaper subscription, but saying you can only read it in one room in your home. If you move to another room, you need to get another subscription. I called, e-mailed, and posted notes on their systems and have not received a good reason why they want to charge me twice. I do not think this is fair, and they are not very responsive.

With my online subscription, I can view the WSJ on any computer by simply putting in my username and password; am I confused as to what you are trying to do?

I have a subscription on my Kindle and they want to charge me a second time to read the same information on my iPad using their app
