Nextel Complaint - warranty repairs
NEW YORK -- Regarding a repair issue with a phone just a few months old, we went to a Nextel store for service but they told us to call for the Door to Door (Fedex) service. Before I did that I went onto Nextel's website and tried to find a local authorized repair service. When I called the phone number Nextel provided, it was disconnected. We then tried the Door to Door service. A pickup was scheduled, but Fedex did not come when promised, and we had to reschedule. The phone was picked up a few days later, repaired, and sent back. We thought that was the end of it until we got a $55 charge on our recent bill. Not once were we told there was any charge for a warranty repair. And when I called Nextel customer service they told me to call Motorola. I called Motorola and they told me to call Nextel. Very frustrating!! I am formally disputing this charge, and I have four accounts that I will end up cancelling because of this issue.
