Sew-N-Vac Puyallup Washington Complaint - Hoover Vacuum Cleaner Service Repair

PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON -- We took in our Hoover vacuum for service. After getting it back. The belt was on backwards, the clips that hold the beater bar in place were not fastened, it did not work as good as it did when took in, made lots of grinding noise, the beater bar locks up, now the beater bar is damaged and needs replaced.
Upon calling and speaking to someone that after a time confessed to being the owner, she said to bring it in and they would make it right.
I took it in and waited as they banged on the beater bar and after an hour she brought it back out and said it was better. I asked to try it in store and when plugged in and turned on it was the same if not worse.
At this point she said it was old and needed replaced. I told her it was fine when brought in and had only needed cleaning. This is also what the clerk and repair tech had said when we picked it up. At this point she just kept repeating "You know we did a good job." I told her I was dissatisfied and asked what she would do to make it right. She then just said "Its old and needs replaced."
I then asked for a refund of the cost of service since the vacuum was worse off then when brought in and she said "NO! I will not give you your money back."
At this point I told her that I would be contacting the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce and registering complaints with both.
