Providence Physician Billing Complaint - Billing Practice - Medical Service

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- This company has failed to respond to a call and a letter regarding an item on their bill. When I spoke to them, they indicated they would have to research the issue and get back to me. I'm still waiting for them to get back to me after submitting a follow up letter. Instead, they have not responded and keep sending a bill as if no issue exists.

Send them a certified mail/return receipt requested letter. State what your issue is. Reference any previous communications with them. State also that you will not pay the amount being billed until your issue has been resolved. Place them on notice that you will take any necessary action against them should this bill be reported to any of the credit bureaus before such investigation/resolution has been completed.

Tnchuck beat me to it. I was going to offer the same advice. You definitely need to contact them, otherwise they probably will send you to collections and you will have a blemish on your credit.
