Homecenter.com Complaint - Homecenter.com is totally unreliable - faucets

faucets - Complaint
Review by mcl on 2010-07-03
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I purchased a faucet that was not right, received an RMA from homecenter.com, sent the faucet back within 5 days, have the UPS tracking information to show that it was received and signed for by someone at homecenter.com, and I have tried to get a refund since Feb. 2009 with no luck!

THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. It is totally irresponsible, pleased to take customer orders and money, and then it totally ignores them when there is a problem or a refund is necessary, appropriate, and consistent with their return policies.

Unfortunately, this seems to be happening with a lot of companies. They're holding on to every penny for dear life. Maybe they're hoping customers will forget or just not pursue the refund. If you paid by credit card and too much time hasn't gone by, maybe you can file a complaint with them.

My credit card company, Citi Mastercard was no help. And, the economy has little to do with this. The company believes, that it can get away with cheating its customers because the customers cannot force it to pay.

I was speaking in general about the economy. I've noticed that people are finding it harder to get refunds. I have no idea if that's the reason in this case. It was just a thought.
