National Motors, Inc. Baltimore, MD Complaint - Where are the cars advertised online?
BALTIMORE, MARYLAND -- This dealer is very small and I've never seen so many cars parked two or three deep in such a tiny lot. So many cars, I wasn't sure where to park..there isn't any customer parking.
It's difficult to actually look at the cars because they're so tightly parked. (The pics on the website are taken at the Weis parking lot across the street, not in the dealer's lot. The entire dealership could fit in the Weis' produce section...)
That isn't the primary complaint, though. When I talked with the dealer late afternoon the day before to ask if a certain car listed for sale on the site is still available - and mentioned I'd be driving over an hour to see it the next morning - they say "YES," not only is that one still available, there are eight others that are the same model but various years, accessories, etc. (There weren't eight there, though...only three.)
It must have been a "used car dealer miracle:" after being listed on the site for more than a month, the very car I wanted to see was SOLD the evening before I arrived - mere hours after I was told it was still available. They said paperwork was finished up about 11 P.M. I guess that's why they didn't call and save me the drive.
"Since you already made the trip, why don't you look at some of our other great deals?"
We were there not more than five minutes before we turned around and left again. I wouldn't buy a used pencil from this dealer - let alone a used car.
