Wal-Mart Complaint - How long is too long?
VAN WERT, OHIO -- This complaint is regarding the amount of time it took to replace the charging cord for my HP laptop computer. I called the warranty division on June 19 explaining that my computer would not charge (this is the second time I have been thru this process by-the-way). They said if the charging cord was not getting hot or lighting up it would need to be replaced. I waited and waited. It did not come. I called back on July 1 wondering if they could give me an explaination why I had not received my replacement cord. They were not sure but said they would check it out and get back with me. I received a call back on July 6 (hmmmm...five days later) saying for some reason the order had not been processed and that they would overnight the new charging cord. It is now July 8 and I finally received the much anticipated item that took so long to get here!!! Does this seem too long for a service that I would expect a multi-billion company to provide? Guess we won't be purchasing computers from
Walmart when our kids go off to college.
