Home Depot Informative - Lawn Mower Blues
DUBLIN GA -- I have been working with the store in Dublin GA for six weeks to get a lawn mower repaired. I have had no information, people had no idea what I wanted, and when they would promise to call back no call back.
I found a review on your web site and called the number of customer service in Atlanta about 11:00 today and it is now 3 PM and I have a loaner lawn mower and they assure me that they will fix mine.
I spoke to a lady named Cynthia and she lit a fire under someone and they found the ext maint contract and authorized repair today. Amazing that it happened so fast especially as I learned that the repair depot had sent the mower back to Dublin last week without repairing it. The store sent it back to Atlanta did not say anything to me, and must not have known it at the service desk in the store.
My advice is don't screw with the folk in your local store, they don't do anything until told to by Atlanta.
Also when I was signing up on your website it told me the password I had chosen was already in use, but would you believe I had to reenter all the information on your form. That is not a hard thing to fix on your web site and it does bother folks that are already upset about some other company
