Comcast Corporation Complaint - I'll call back, computers are down. When??? in a year?
Our area went through channel line up changes on April 6, 2010. I had an issue with Foodnetwork for 2 years off and on but I was told it was an ongoing issue they have been working on, then the changes came and it was worse SyFy went up 4 channels and Foodnetwork along with others were worse than ever. I gave it a week and called, I was told to reset the box and they would send a signal wich "should work" a week or so later it wasn't any better so I called again another signal was sent. it worked for that night. I also complained becasue my TV in my room doesn't have a box it's an older one so I no longer get the higher stations, they told me they could send a box out but her computer was down and "someone" would call me back within 24 hours to send a box out to me. Call 1 I'm still waiting on. I called again it was now closer to May and the signal was sent again but it did not work so she sent a tech and offered to credit my account for the problems, he investigated and told me I need a house wrap for a new dedicated line to my living room TV. I received my June bill without credit so I called back on June 3rd, I spoke with Ishmal from the Witmarsh office who told me I could only get credit for the 4 days from the first call to when the tech came out as it showed in the computer. I explained to him it was logner than that and that I know it was because the first or second time I talked to someone about it they were suppose to have somone call me back to have a box sent to me because the computer was down. An hour latter he was getting ready to credit my account, have the house wrap set up set up for when I was back from vacation on June 17 or 18th, have the box sent out and give me a better monthly package for less than what I am currently paying. Guess what happened... the computers went down and he was locked out of the system so I got the line "I will call you back within 24 hours". Call 2 I am still waiting on. Nothing was done and now I'll have to dedicate at least another hour of my life to be on the phone with Comcast to try to get this mess fixed because when I emailed customer service with this complaint I was told "call us". I might just call Verizon or Dish Network instead.
